This is the morning of the wedding at my parents' house. Aimee and David were married in Green River, WY on August 1st. David is a great guy and treats Aimee and Molly with such consideration and kindness. We are so happy to have him as part of our family.

Max the Turtle

Marc found "Max" the turtle in Grandpa Cook's garage while on vacation. We asked all over the neighborhood and were not able to find the owners. Devon and Scott showed up that evening so all the grandkids were able to play with Max. Later that night we found a neighbor that was interested in keeping the turtle. The boys wanted to keep him so bad, but it's better that he stayed in Utah.

Perrine Bridge

We went to the Snake River Canyon by the Perrine bridge right before our vacation. It is amazing how big the canyon is. From the bridge to the river it is about 500 feet. It is the only place in the US where it is legal to base jump.

You can tell Marc is interested in the view.

Exciting news!

We just wanted to let the family know that Rachelle is pregnant! She started to wonder because her jeans were getting tighter, so we ran and got a test to confirm her suspicion. We haven't been to the Doctor yet to get an official due date, but according to the calculations on webMD she is due around March 11 of 2009. It's still really early, but so far everything is going really well.

Grandma and Grandpa Cook Visited

6/27-6/28/08 Grandma and Grandpa Cook visited this weekend and brought Tyler and Sara. They arrived on Friday night and stayed until Saturday. The kids stayed up kind of late, but had fun on Friday. On Saturday we went to a ward breakfast where they did a silent auction. It was kind of funny because the power kept tripping the breaker. The pancakes were taking forever and Grandpa said, "Turn the heat up girls!" Next we went to the Snake River Canyon overlook and saw the view. Grandpa had his binoculars and let each of the kid's look around the canyon. After that we went to Shoshone Falls. It is a few miles outside Twin Falls and is a huge set of waterfalls. After the falls we went back home and went swimming. It was fun, except the pump was broken, so the water was kind of chilly. We went back and watched Spiderwick Chronicles and then they had to go home.
